Seeing things come together kept me going, and I'll be playing with it soon to see just how worth the effort it's been. This tutorial will show you how to edit and add objects into Skyrim interiors without the console/CK.

Just know that what you're aiming for is probably a ways away from being something you get to actually experience. This isn't a job, and that's why it's taken me almost 4 months to do something an experienced modder could probably pump out in a month or less, and with more polish. Don't force yourself to work on it either. Even simpler than you think simple is, and see what happens. I'm sure I could pump out the same mod much faster if I had to do it again, but it's honestly been very tedious. Truth be told I had no idea it would take me this long, and I still have more I'd like to add. I still cant script, and frankly I doubt I'll ever be able to, but so far I've been able to do anything I've wanted(tho its all rather basic)so long as I can reference someone who's already figured it out and go from there. It's been about 3 or 4 months since I started, and I knew nothing. Mostly just conjuration creatures, and a handful of spells I pieced together by basically looking at spells other authors made, tracing their steps, and then putting them together till they function. If you need any help with anything just ask and I'm sure most of the people here would be happy to help out, we can always use more modders.įor me personally I've undertaken a small spell pack mod.

Personally I only use the creation kit when creating an npc's appearance, working with scripts, or editing dialog. ( ) This will be your main tool because the creation kit is slow and cumbersome. ( ) Want your spells and effects to only activate under specific circumstances? Well then you'll need to learn about conditions and what each one does. ( ) You'll need this if you decide to start creating perks for unique in game abilities such as crit or similar things, they can be a bit tricky to work with if you don't know what you're doing. ( ) This place has tons of tutorials and other info for the creation kit. ( ) For when you feel like creating awesome looking things. ( ) This guy has tons of tutorial videos on various things.

Here's some links to various places for all your mod creating needs, they're the ones I used back when I was starting out.
